Talk the Torque at Leyburn Sprints
Lions John Wrench, Dan Mahon and President Chris Dalgleish provided assistance at the recent 75th Anniversary of the running of the Historic Leyburn Sprints, when they manned the entrance gate.
Longtime supporters of this fundraising activity were Lions Lion Linda Schefe who assisted at the Sprints for the majority of both day; while Janelle Bray and Ken Bray introduced their son Matthew to hype and anticipation of attendees of this legendary motor sport.
Lion Bernadette Craig assisted at the Warwick Street gate for the very windy Saturday afternoon roster along with Lions Tim Manning from Clifton Lions Club and Rob Craig from Highfields Lions Club.
The weather was perfect for the many thousands from far and wide who travelled to Leyburn. None were disappointed, all leaving with smiles on their faces and looking forward to returning again next year.
